Fairly new to the industry, micro needing utilizes several tiny small needles attached to a hand piece, which is lightly glided across the surface of the skin. These micro needles actually puncture the skin and create very small micro tears superficially.
The goal in mind with this treatment is to create a superficial injury, resulting in the stimulation of new tissue growth.
Most treatments end with the application of a topical product that supports the growth of the skin and or a product to enhance the hydration levels in the skin. Some clinicians will also take the treatment to another level by applying a light peel directly after. All post treatments are relative to how aggressive of an approach is taken during the micro needling.
